I like this one because it is different yet at the same time traditional. It has B-Horror movie elements, but in a way that also works in the deep and meaningful sense. From what I get, this one stays true to the original story in how both Jekyll and Hyde were not the greatest people deep down, but if it had a Deep Blue Sea setting in modern day times. Info goes as follows;

"Dr. Jekyll was always a little enthusiastic about marine life. And by a little, I mean he always wanted to be a shark. He studied marine biology, trying to find the perfect way to be a shark. Eventually, while aboard the SS Hyde, he created the perfect formula for Sharkdom. Injecting it into his arm like a heroin addict looking for a fix, Jekyll felt a hell of a rush. Then he blacked out.

"What awoke wasn't Jekyll. The crew of the SS Hyde didn't have time to determine whether or not this was a good thing - on one hand, they no longer had to deal with the chattering madman who never gave heed to the consequences of his actions. On the other hand, the new guy was built like a tank, cold and calculating, and the silence was downright unnerving. And the thing was hungry. Dubbed Mr. Hyde, after the ship it was created on, the beast mauled most everyone on board, with only a captain's log to confirm that something odd happened.

"To this day, both Jekyll and Hyde can be seen in port towns around the world. Jekyll, while still obsessive, seems remorseful over what he's possibly become - he has no idea whether or not the rumors are true, but the evidence keeps piling up. Hyde remains the ruthless killer he's always been - a bloodthirsty shark-human hybrid. It's hard to tell which side drives him harder - the survival instincts of the shark, or the dark soul of the man."
